Woman Tying Her Shoe by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Art Print
Ernst Ludwig Kirchner was a German Expressionist, considered one of the most talented and influential of his time. He was a key figure of the Die Brücke (“The Bridge”) group that flourished in Dresden and Berlin before World War I. Their aim was to challenge traditional academic styles and to create a new mode of artistic expression, forming a "bridge" between classical motifs of the past and the present avant-garde. The human figure in ‘motion’ was a central theme in Kirchner’s art, which featured a passionate and unusual colour palette.
These prints are printed on a fine quality ivory paper.
These are reproductions of old illustrations & in most cases will have the same imperfections as the original.
