Architecture & Design Prints
Qutub Minar drawn stone by stone, back when measuring a monument meant standing under it with a pencil. The early topographers' India — Thanjavur, the Varanasi ghats, the caves at Elephanta — alongside the design plates of old pattern books: Désiré Guilmard's chairs and cabinets, the furniture that filled rooms like these.
For a study, a drawing board, an entrance hall. The Indian views carry over into landscapes; the design plates sit close to the architecture and interiors books.
