Some objects make a desk feel less like a workstation and more like a place of thought.

A set of four pieces drawn together by the idea of correspondence — a slim leather organiser for everyday office carry, a Dhokra sculpture from Odisha cast in brass, an art notebook from our archive, and six Indian postcard prints.

Designed for writers, professionals, collectors, and curious minds. Equally at home in an office, a study, or a library. Created for client gifting and corporate occasions, and equally well-suited to personal milestones — a promotion, a farewell, or the start of a new role.

Perfect for: Professionals · Writers · A new office · Farewell gifts · Corporate gifting · Diwali

What's inside

  • Gryphon leather organiser — holds phone, notebook, pen, cards, and cords
  • Dhokra brass sculpture from Odisha, lost-wax cast
  • Art notebook from our archive
  • A set of six Indian postcard prints
  • Rigid Ikka Dukka gift box, ribbon, and a hand-pressed message card

The story behind the Dhokra figure

Dhokra is cast using the lost-wax technique — the same craft, and the same process, that produced the Dancing Girl of Mohenjo-Daro four and a half thousand years ago. It is still practised today by Adivasi communities across eastern and central India, in workshops that have passed the technique down for generations. Every figure is cast individually, so subtle variations in form and detail are characteristic of the craft.

Why they'll keep it

  • Each piece is meant to be used, not displayed
  • A piece of a 4,500-year-old craft tradition sitting on a contemporary desk
  • Anchored in Indian craft — the Dhokra is cast in Odisha; the postcards drawn from our Indian art archive
  • Arrives ready to give, no wrapping needed
  • Works for any recipient, in any role

Please note: The Dhokra is handmade, so the piece in your box may differ slightly from the one shown. Variations in shape and detail are part of what the craft is.
