The Khal Mohammadi style comes from Mazar-e-Sharif's Turkmen weaving workshops, and it is defined by its all-over geometric discipline: no central medallion, no hierarchy — just an unbroken field of geometric forms interlocking with the structural logic of load-bearing walls. This piece works in deep crimson, across which a maze-like angular lattice in near-black navy unfolds in all directions, punctuated at intervals by small diamond accents in gold and ivory.

The border is a contained, geometric band that holds the field firmly. At 6.7 × 5 feet, hand-knotted in wool on cotton at 110 knots per square inch, this is a carpet for a large room that deserves to be taken seriously.
