Shab Baluchi One-OF-A-Kind-Afghan Rug
MRP incl. of all taxes
The Baluch people of western Afghanistan carry one of the longest continuous weaving traditions in the region — a visual language built on geometric authority and a palette that knows exactly which colours belong together. This carpet runs long and lean, its crimson field organised into rows of large octagonal medallions in navy, each alternating with a smaller cross motif that sits between them with quiet precision.
The border is dark, dense with pattern, and entirely sure of itself. Wool on a cotton foundation, hand-knotted at 110 knots per square inch — a structure that holds the design sharp from corner to corner. A runner's format, but a room-setter's presence.
