A hand-tufted wool carpet in blue and teal with damask pattern, the scrolling traditional motifs worked in pile across the field. Tufting builds a denser pile than flatweave: yarn punched into a backing and finished from above, the construction giving the pattern dimensional weight. Damask vocabulary borrows from European silk-weaving and textile traditions — symmetrical, scrolling, ornamental — here translated into wool pile and worked in tonal blue and teal that read as classical without becoming heavy. At 2.6 × 6 ft, this is a runner format, suited to hallways, entryways, or as a narrow accent beside a bed or sofa.

Professional cleaning recommended. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading. Some shedding is natural in the early months and reduces over time.
