A hand-woven wool dhurrie in the kilim flatweave tradition, two-tone geometry in ivory and grey laid in horizontal bands across a tightly woven ground. No pile — the pattern reads as structure rather than texture, and the rug sits flat without any architectural lift. Like all true flatweaves, it's reversible — the geometry reads on both sides, useful for rotating wear over a long life.
Dhurries have long been India's flatweave: thinner, lighter, easier to live with than tufted carpets, woven across Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for generations. Works in dining rooms where chairs need to move without catching, in hallways and entryways, in bedrooms where weight isn't wanted underfoot, or layered beneath a smaller heritage piece.
Made to order in India in 100% wool, in three sizes — the 5 × 8 anchors a small sitting room, the 6 × 9 sits centre in a drawing room, the 8 × 10 reads under a dining table. Lead time typically 4–6 weeks.

Care
Vacuum with suction only; rotate every few months; spot-clean with plain water. Flatweaves shed very little.

- Light Vacuum clean regularly. Avoid using beater brush on rugs.
- Remove spills immediately. Blot any liquid with a clean cloth or a paper napkin.
- Please do not pull loose ends if any. Trim with scissors.
- Please keep away from sharp objects, hot surfaces, open fire places and excess moisture.
- Please do not soak the rug in any liquid. For initial weeks, shedding of material fiber may be observed. This is normal, and will reduce with time & usage.
- Colors may fade slightly when placed in areas of direct sunlight. In this case, it is advisable to periodically rotate your rug to ensure this process is even.
