These rare vintage mats & runners are truly a collectors find. Dating back to the Soviet Era, these kind of pieces are no longer in production. Hand-woven in fine wool and vibrant colours by the Turkman tribesmen of Azerbaijan deep in the mountain chains of the Caucasus region, north to south of Caspian Sea, these are one of a kind. Each piece tells a story, a story about the weaver’s life, community and the time. This is a unique opportunity to get a gorgeous piece from a time gone by. Once they are gone, they are gone.
